Our History
Executive Security International was established in 1975 by former military and law enforcement professionals who recognized a critical gap in structured security education. Based in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, ESI pioneered the formalized executive protection training model that is now considered standard across the industry.
Over five decades, ESI has trained personnel from the U.S. Secret Service, Department of State, FBI, DEA, and dozens of allied foreign governments, as well as Fortune 500 security directors and private protection specialists worldwide.
